The youngest applicant has to be 60 years of age and currently (soon to be extended to other nationals) hold a British or an Irish passport. Maximum 2 applicants (including on the deed).

| In the Application Form there is an Admin fee mentioned. This fee includes the cost of the valuation as well as the cost for the compulsary meeting with an appointed solicitor by Manchester Building Society. Prices include IVA. |

We need you to send us the filled in Application Form, and please don't forget to sign it. But we also need some other documents from you. On the right is a list of what we need.

1) Passports & NIE certificates. Resident's card will also do fine, but please remember to take a copy of both sides of your resident's card.
2) We need proof that you are a resident at the property. So can you send a copy of a utility bill or even a bank statement? Document must not be older than 3 months and names on application also have to be on document you send.
3) The bank will need to know that your property is insured, so we need a copy of the buildings insurance (not the content). Of course it needs to be valid
4) We need to know that the house tax is paid up to date. This document is called I. B.I. and we need a copy to see that it is paid
5) Finally we need some details of the property. The document we need is called a Nota Simple and is an extract of the deed. We can help you order this, just phone us PRESS HERE
6) For the completion the notary will need a copy of the escritura (deed) or the copia simple. Please arrange to have this sent at the same time.

Once we have received all documents we need, a valuation will be arranged (the cost of this is included in the application fee). You also need to meet an appointed solicitor by Manchester Building Society. Once the result of the valuation has come back you will be issued with a mortgage offer by Manchester Building Society.
